Illegal ticket sales for Joey Yung and Hacken Lee's concert? Furious EEG lodged police report

It is common for the culprits to sell fake tickets whenever the artistes are planning to open their concerts. This time, singing pop diva Joey Yung (容祖兒) and Hacken Lee (李克勤) are the victims who are planning their joint concert in Hong Kong Coliseum in September, and it was 12 years ago since they collaborated. As such, many fans kept monitoring the sale of the tickets status.

However before the organiser officially announced the sale of the tickets, some culprits released some fake information such as getting the tickets by pre-order and advance and left their contact details in the concert posters from various social networking sites. Upon learning the news, Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG) was furious, conducted an investigation and lodged a police report. Today on the Internet, EEG clarified and cautioned fans not to buy tickets from unfamiliar sources and the official ticket sales will start on 16 June.

On their social networking sites, Joey and Hacken separately cautioned their fans not to mislead by the offenders. Through the telephone, Hacken expressed he was shocked: "Had no idea how did the news leaked out and I am elated to see everyone was waiting for our concert, but should not but tickets from other sources." As for Joey, she was in Beijing and felt complicated: "Understand the company will take actions and I feel very touched. Hope everyone will give their greatest support before the official announcement of ticket sales."

As for the progress of the concert, senior management from EEG, Alex Fung advised everyone not to let thoughts wander and we had opened 10 times this year. We will announce when it is finalised."
